TIC - Dedicated Line Setup Information

Set up for all dedicated lines includes the following:

• Registration for IP addresses and domain names
• Set up & administration of routing to the user's server
• Set up of communication equipment and phone lines
• Set up of Internet support services (DNS, Usenet feed etc)
• Assistance in setting up server at the user's location
• Consultation for equipment requirements

Dedicated line users are responsible for:

• Communication equipment for both ends of the link
• Phone lines at both locations
• Administration of their Internet server
